NoBrowser differs from a VPN in many ways, here are just a few explained:
1.) A VPN requires a client to be installed on your computer. It requires you to have administrative access to install this software. This means that you cannot install VPN software onto shared computers, such as airport, or library computers, etc. With NoBrowser, there is *no installation of software*, NoBrowser runs direclty from your favorite web browser; Chrome, Firefox, IE, etc.
2.) Furthermore, although they claim otherwise, VPN exist on your local PC and can leak DNS information to your internet provider. When you connect to NoBrowser, DNS queries egress from our servers, not your local computer, meaning big borther can't see what websites you went to.
3.) VPN leaves logs on your local device. This includes installation, credentials, and potentially history and log files.
NoBrowser differs from a VPN in many ways, here are just a few explained:
1.) Firstly, we think Tor is great. However, similar to a VPN it does require some level of installation on your local computer. Even the Tor Browser requires installation on the local devce. Installing software typically requires you to have administrative access to the PC (which is not common in shared terminals). This means that you cannot install Tor software to shared devices, such as airport, or library computers. With NoBrowser, there is *no installation of software*, NoBrowser runs direclty from your favorite web browser; Chrome, Firefox, IE, etc.
2.) When using Tor, your traffic is routed thru Tor hosted nodes. These nodes are owned by other people in various countries (where laws differ). Your security is based on the trust you have on the Tor exit nodes you are using. With NoBrowser, you surf the web thru us, not a random Tor exit node.
3.) Tor does not work everywhere. It is factually blocked in certain countries in the Middle East and Asia. Even Tor proxy's a are blocked in certain locations. Tor traffic is also detected by your compnay or Internet Service Provider's firewalls. Most corporations, schools, and organizations block the use of Tor at their firewall. With NoBrowser, we are a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) website, not Tor, therefore you can access *Your Private Session* from anywhere globally!
